Musicians: We tend to book out months in advance, so please contact us early to lock in your date. However, we will consider scheduling with short notice. Please send us a link to your website, videos, etc so we can hear your music, as well as the dates that you’re available to perform. We prefer scheduling on Fridays or Saturdays, but possible exceptions will be made for a Sunday or weekday performance. Guests: All performances are on a first come, first serve basis. We sell out for each show quickly, so we recommend buying your ticket as soon as possible to ensure that you’re “on the list”. You must be on the list in order to get in, sorry no exceptions. Keep in mind that we are in unique locations around the city, so seating is limited and sometimes cozy! . The address and further details will be given once your ticket is purchased.
The Story
It all started with a song… Seattle Living Room Shows began in 2008 by Carrie Watt and Kristen Watt, two sisters that share a serious passion for music. The first show was at Carrie’s old pad in Lake Stevens, WA with Sebastian of Come Gather Round Us and Andrew Balls of Red Cassette (both of the UK). That quickly turned into a desire to continue to support musicians by providing an intimate atmosphere for their music to truly be heard. Shortly after that show, they moved to Seattle, WA, adopted the name, Seattle Living Room Shows, and began booking shows months in advance and selling each show out within a week of listing. The word spread like wildfire, while still remaining to have an underground feel. Over the years, the shows have grown from only 15 attendees at an event to over 200! With the desire for attendance on the ever increasing demand, the show locations have changed to large living spaces, art galleries, lofts, dance studios, etc. They strive to keep each space unique and the atmosphere, no matter how large a group, intimate and appreciative. Every time they have a living room or secret show, you may be able to catch a shared smile between the sisters, and the exchanged thought is always the same. “We are so lucky to experience these amazing shows”. They hope when you come to one of their shows, you will feel the same.
